I love that when we get home from school my kids run straight for the backyard. It helps when we find things like this. This beautiful Monarch was injured and landed on Gracie as she was running around the yard. Of course she shared and the rest of the kids loved getting a chance to hold the butterfly.
We put the little guy in the tree and that was the last that we saw of him. We had to convince Landry to leave him there and not try multiple rescues.
