Easter was a very relaxed weekend at our place. It felt a little funny because for the first time in a long time, we weren't around any extended family. Of course, we enjoyed ourselves and the kids enjoyed lots of candy and an egg hunt. Early in the morning, before everyone was up, Shane got up and spread Easter eggs in our neighbors' yard up and down the block. It was kind of cool to watch our neighbors open eggs and get candy and not know where it came from.
These boys were so excited for chocolate bunnies!
Landry was not excited about the wet grass, but after she found candy in those eggs, she was able to get into the spirit.
Grace and Gib were hunting in their own "zone" so that the littles would have the chance to actually get some eggs.
It was a successful morning. Our kids are getting so big! After our hunt, we got dressed and headed out for church.
