Not so proud...

While Grace had a fantastic day, Gib has had better. One of these days he is going to learn that the teachers patrol the bathrooms while the kids are on potty breaks. Until then, he is going to continue to get in trouble! His teacher was in the middle of her patrol and heard more noise than usual coming from the boy's bathroom. Evidently, Gibson decided to get a laugh from his friends and pee-pee-ed all over the wall in the bathroom. He got the laugh, but I don't know that it was worth it. He also had his little butt worn out and then had to go to the bathroom and clean it all up while the rest of the class was having fun without him. I keep hoping that one of these days he will figure out how to conduct himself as a model citizen. I'm still hoping...

So proud!

Grace had a great day today! When Shane picked her up from gymnastics, her coach told him that she has done so well with her skills that she has jumped from a level 2 to a level 4. She has her back handspring and I guess that did it! She is very excited. She has another meet in a couple of months, so we have gone into gymnastics overdrive at our house!

She also was invited to be on our school Battle of the Books team for this spring. This is an invited group that has to read 8 - 10 books and then competes in a judged contest where they have to answer questions about the different stories and identify specific information. She is very excited as a couple of her best friends are on the team as well. It's been a good day!

At the park...

It was such a pretty day Sunday! In between sick kids we made a trip to the park and had lots of fun. Of course, the swing is where we always spend the most time.
Gibson was rocking out his new shades.
Grace and Gib were having lots of fun in the tire swing.

Hayden is three!

My littlest man is now a whopping three years old! He is getting so big! As you can see from above, he enjoyed his cookie cake very much!
Here he is showing off his new hat, shades and of course his new Handy Manny shirt!
Here is Hayden with his "brudder" Gibson. Gib was so sweet! He brought in the box below and asked me to put a bow on it because he had gotten a gift for Hayden. Never mind that it was a car that they play with all the time and that he had packed it in one of my plastic containers, Hayden was very excited!

This picture cracks me up! Hayden was so excited to get a Power Rangers shirt that he was dancing...It was a good day.

Where are they?!

My two little babies are growing up so big and like any loving momma, I want to take lots of pictures so that I never forget... With these two, these are the pictures that I usually get! Landry is always looking away or running away as she is much to busy to stand around and wait for me to get the perfect shot. She has places to be!
Hayden, on the other hand, is always hiding under his hat. For those of you that haven't seen him in the last few months, he has become unbelievably attached to his spiderman hat. He wears it EVERYWHERE and the only time that he takes it off is to get in the bath, (it's the last thing that comes off and the first to go back on) and to go to bed (we take it off and set it on his pillow and he grabs it first thing when he wakes up.) Needless to say, it's kind of dirty. We got him a new hat for his birthday and I was able to trash the old one.

Anyway, he can be hard to photograph, because I can never get a look at his face!
We were out on the trampoline and he was higher than me and he gave me his best look...

Look how big this girl is! I just can't get over how quickly she is growing up!

It continues...

Child number two is now throwing up. I was hoping that somehow we could keep it contained to one person, but I don't think that it is possible. Maybe the boy's won't get it (fingers crossed). Landry woke up early this morning crying and miserable with dirty sheets and blankets. I never feel more for my children than when they are sick. Especially when they are young enough that they don't understand what's going on. I got her cleaned up and we headed for the living room to watch some cartoons. She was super cute with her little bowl and even gave me a "cheese!" as I took her picture. We did have plans to go somewhere for spring break, but they're dropping like flies around here!

Here we go again...

Well, we are kicking off our spring break with another sickness. We were sick all of Christmas break. Today, at the end of the day, our school nurse found me and told me that Gracie was at the GT center throwing up and I was going to have to get her. Poor thing! We had to pull the car over three times on the way back to our campus.

When she got sick at the school, she had told her teacher that she didn't feel well and the teacher sent her to see the nurse. There was no temperature, so the nurse gave her a mint and sent her back to class. Shortly after, she threw up in front of her class in the hall. The other girls (brats!) were saying, "Gross Grace! Why would you do that?!!"

Grace came right back with, "Well, sorry! It was involuntary! You do know what that means don't you? It means that it happens even when you don't want it too!"

I was proud of my girl! She didn't let those girls get to her! I hope that this passes quickly!
