Reality check!

Today, as I was teaching one of my second grade classes, we were learning a square dance and I started off the segment with, "A long time ago, when cowboys rode horses everywhere, and people drove horses and wagons, friends would get together and have parties that they called square dances." I had barely gotten that out when one smart little child raised his hand and innocently asked, "How long ago? Like, 1999?"Ouch! Nothing like an honest little booger to remind you just how old you are and that "long ago" is all perception!
