Our life is busy, but we don't want our children to look back and not have memories of our family taking time together. About a month ago, we started a weekly tradition of having breakfast together on Saturday mornings. We usually go to Esperanza's, a local Mexican bakery and restaurant. They have the best breakfast! The kids love getting pancakes and Shane and I always get migas. Migas are a mixture of corn tortillas, cheese, eggs and chicken that is great. They serve it with beans and potatoes and this really yummy salsa. Shane always takes the kids over to the bakery while we are waiting for our food and they always bring back little treats that we all sample. We all look forward to Saturday mornings. Esperanza's has two locations and the one that we have been going to is over next to the stockyards. A couple of weeks ago, we finished with our breakfast and then headed over to watch the herd move down the street and take in the sights.
The boys got their pictures with the Indian and his horse. Notice Hayden's "tough" face.
We walked around the wooden sidewalks above the corrals.
The kids had fun exploring.
All in all it was a fabulous day! The kids were in the best mood and we enjoyed making memories.

These are great photos and your kids will remember what wonderful loving parents they have who encouraged them and kept them engaged in community, family & life in general! :) Don't discount the small moments (although weekly breakfast traditions are fun too!!)
Precious times and memories you are giving your kids! Such sweet pictures.
