Summertime is finally here! We went for our first official swim of the year. The water was a bit chilly, but the kids didn't seem to mind. They all took the opportunity to be little fish and not get out until they were all pruny and water-logged!
We were especially proud of little Hayden! Last summer, he refused to swim or get into the water no matter how hot it was outside. While everyone else would swim and enjoy the water, he would fish from the side. He actually has a pretty good cast! He had plenty of practice!
This year he started off on the edge in his little life jacket...
By the end of the evening, he was in this little get up...
And then he was swimming with Dad! We were very proud...
Of course the other two played and swam to their heart's content!
Landry was being sweet with Daddy.

How fun! I love summer time...especially with little ones around! :)
We are in the pool every day. Aside from two days for potty training, we haven't missed a day since Memorial day. We love it! Too bad we can't our kids together at the same pool. :(
Nolan is the same way as Hayden with the pool. I put him in swim lessons and think I might have just wasted $70 but we'll see. It starts in two weeks.
Yea for summer!! We can't wait to head to the pool ourselves:)
P.S. Thanks for the tip about the animal info...smarty:) Who has time to read at the zoo?! Call me soon and we can go to the park.
