Remember the trip to the library? The one where Landry ripped up the magazine in front of the librarian? (One of my finer parenting moments.) And I shook my head with a "There are no words..." Well...
We enjoyed a great family meal of burgers at a little place across from TCU, and after some frozen yogurt, walked over to the campus and let the kids run around. They had a blast! They climbed rocks, walls, jumped off and over things, and generally wore themselves out. We ended up at the newly built quad, in the middle of campus, around a big water fountain and beautiful lawn. The kids ran up and down and all around and talked to everyone. It was time to go and Dad said that they could dip their toes in the fountain to cool off a little. (They were all sporting the trademark Mize red cheeks.) Everyone hopped up on the wall, except for Hayden, who starts screaming at the top of his lungs, "I've got to go pee-pee!" Before we could grab him, he runs to the edge of the sidewalk, throws all of his clothes to his ankles, arches his little thing into the wind, and lets loose on the beautiful lawn...right as a TCU cop rolls by.
"Yes, officer. Our apologies. There are no words..."
